The Korsteel Full Cheek French Link Snaffle is great for young or inexperienced horses as it helps with head direction and turning as pressure is applied to the side of the mouth to encourages turning. The full cheek sides also stop the bit from being pulled through the horses' mouth.
The Shires Bit is made with a brass alloy to produce a more palatable bit that is warmer in the mouth than stainless steel for the horse and helps to encourage acceptance and salivation. Copper is alloyed with brass to produce a durable metal bit.
